Cherry Creek Icelandics introduced the first importation of Purebred Icelandic Sheep to Colorado – the oldest purebred sheep breed on the planet - gathered in part from the original flock shipped into Canada. Then purchasing the first available AI (artificial inseminated) lambs from semen exported from the finest old Icelandic sheep flocks to develop the livestock portion of Cherry Creek Farm. Hence the biodynamics of the farm was then complete - growing something - that feeds something - that provides fertilizer to grow something else.
